How we work
Where the Bible text comes from, how the study layers are made, and how we review them.
We do not write the Bible text
The text of each chapter and verse is imported from public-domain or openly licensed translations and published unchanged. It never goes through artificial intelligence. The version used is shown at the top of each page, and the full list is in Sources and licenses.
Study layers are made with AI assistance
Plain-language versions, historical context, explanations, facts and FAQs are drafted with AI assistance from sources cited at the end of each page. We start from the questions people actually search for, and each section tries to answer one of them directly.
Each reading is attributed to a tradition
When a passage is read in different ways, we show each reading with the name of the tradition that holds it: Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Jewish or academic. We do not present doctrinal positions as facts, and we do not compare traditions to belittle any of them.
Review and corrections
All content goes through editorial review. The sources of each page are visible at the bottom of the study. If you find a mistake, an inaccurate quotation or a misattributed reading, correcting it is a priority.
What we do not do
- We do not alter the text of Bible translations.
- We do not advocate for any specific church or tradition.
- We do not publish copyrighted Bible translations.
